Mrs. Renfro 1st grade Class

Welcome back to the Johns Hill family! 

We will plant seeds & watch them grow during April. May 7th, we will walk to the garden to plant our seedings.

Dates to remember

• First grade ran out of tissues! If you could send in a few boxes to help us through the end of the year. :)
• April... In reading, we will work on vowel teams and are controlled vowels. 
  In math, we will learn about telling time to an hour and a half hours. We will also start our unit 2D/3D shapes.
• In science, we will talk about how plants grow. We will also be learning about the life cycle of chickens as we hatch our own eggs.
• In social studies we will learn about government & monuments. We will also read lots of stories that celebrate America.
