    General Reminders:

    • Teacher Appreciation Week: Monday, May 5 through Friday, May 9 is teacher appreciation week. A flier is coming home today with some ways you can help out!
    • Field Trip: This week Wednesday is our field trip. Unfortunately, we CANNOT take any chaperones on this trip. It is only for students and teachers. Students need to bring a sack lunch to eat that day. The cafeteria will provide some sack lunches for students that need it.
District Testing: This week we will finish our final round of testing for the year.
Students will be completing FastBridge Math and Reading as well as a Writing assessment. Please have your child at school as often as possible!
    • End of Year Behavior: As a 3rd grade we are noticing that many students are beginning to forget school expectations. We are experiencing a lot of disrespectful behavior and a lot of fighting/bickering. Please have a conversation with your child about finishing the year strong.
    • Before School: Please remember that students are not supervised until 7:30 am. If you drop your students off before then they are NOT being supervised.
    • Scent Protocol - "Since January 7, 2002, DPS has asked that no perfumes, colognes, or scented products be sprayed (used) within the school buildings by either students or staff members."
