  • Phase II of Roadmap 2030, our Strategic and Master Facility Planning process, has officially resumed!  The next opportunity to hear directly from staff and the community to gather valuable input will take place on:

    Staff Only Forum

    4:30 p.m. | Wednesday | March 4, 2026
    Auditorium | Eisenhower High School

    Open Community Forum

    5:30 p.m. | Wednesday | March 11, 2026
Eisenhower High School & MacArthur High School

The Community Forum will be held simultaneously at both high schools. This session will follow the same format, with participation expanded to include community stakeholders.

    What Is Phase II?

Phase II focuses on gathering input from staff and stakeholders as we finalize the guiding documents that will serve as the DPS61 blueprint for the next five years. These include:

    1. Strategic Plan on a Page (Mission, Vision, Values & Goals)

    2. Balanced Scorecard (Key performance indicators aligned to each of the five goals)

    3. SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats)

    4. High Leverage Strategies (Ideas and recommendations aligned to the five goals)

Master Facility Planning discussions will resume in June 2026, guided by a Board of Education–approved architectural firm specializing in long-range master facility planning. The work completed during Phase II will guide and inform all future facility planning efforts to ensure alignment with DPS61’s new strategic direction.

    Forum Format

The session will begin with a brief presentation that will include:

    • An overview of the 5-Step Strategic and Master Facility Planning process

    • Phase II tasks and expected outcomes

    • Instructions for providing input and feedback

Following the presentation, participants will engage in a self-paced Gallery Walk, offering input in any of the four Phase II focus areas listed above.

Your insight, perspectives, and recommendations matter! The strength of our plan depends on the voices of those doing the work each day.  We encourage you to attend, participate, and help shape the direction of Roadmap 2030 as we move into Phases III, IV, and V of this process.

Thank you for your continued commitment to our students and our district.
