Mr. Eldon Conn is the Director of Student Services for Decatur Public Schools. Mr. Conn and the Student Services staff provide assistance to parents and/or guardians with registration, attendance, dropout prevention, truancy, homelessness, and student wellness.

Lorie Frame, RN, BA, PEL-CSN
As the Health Sevices Cordinator, Ms. Frame uses ethical and evidence-based practices to direct and supervise school nurses in protecting and promoting student health, facilitates optimal development, and advances students in their academic success by eliminating health-related barriers. Our team of school nurses bridge health care and education by advocating for quality, student-centered care in our school system. Through the use of health assessments of students, identification of students with special needs, the administration and supervision of medications, and providing emergency care, our nurses allow individuals and our community to develop to its full potential.
Ms. Frame has her A.A. degree/RN from Baltimore Community College, her BA in Human Services from the University of Phoenix, and School Nurse certification from Illinois State University.
Responsibilities

The Director of Student Services oversees assisting parents and/or guardians with registration, grades, attendance, dropout prevention, truancy, homelessness, student wellness, career planning, and college choices. They also provide support to Principals for student behavioral issues and work with families to determine alternative educational options for students.
